Q. What types of Florida traffic school courses are offered?

The Emilio School, Inc. offers many different courses to meet all of your traffic school requirements.

Q. Why attend Florida online traffic school?

If you receive a traffic ticket, do not pay it. If you pay a traffic ticket, points may be assessed to your driver's license. You may be able to elect traffic school to avoid points being assessed to your driver license, or a Judge or the Florida DHSMV may require you to attend traffic school because of a traffic ticket or traffic related criminal violation. Most traffic school requirements can now be met online.

Q. How quickly can I finish the traffic school course?

All Florida traffic school courses, regardless of the method, are designed to take the equivalent amount of time to a traditional in-class traffic school. The best thing about the alternative traffic courses, such as Online courses, Video/DVD courses, and the take home booklet course, is that they can be worked at your own pace. On average, the most common Traffic School course takes a minimum time of 4 hours to complete.

Q. How long does it take to get the certificate?

For online courses or courses completed remotely, it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days. If you are in need of expediting this process, please call us at (305) 587-2686. Additional fees apply for rush orders.

Q. What does the traffic school course cost?

The Emilio School, Inc. offers multiple courses in different formats. Course tuitions vary depending on what program you choose to enroll in. All programs have a flat rate fee which includes the processing of your traffic school completion certificate.

Q. How can I pay for the traffic school course?

All courses ordered by internet or phone can be paid for by credit card. If you enroll for a course at our Hialeah traffic school location, we accept credit card, cash, or check. All credit card information is completely secure and our site is encrypted to make all on-line purchases safe.

Q. What if my deadline for completion of traffic school has passed?

The Emilio School, Inc. can not extend your due date. You should contact the Clerk of Court in the County where you recieved your traffic ticket for instructions on how to extend your due date.

Q. Can I use someone else's computer or internet service?

One of the greatest features of our online course is that it can be accessed from anywhere you like. You can complete this course form home, work, the home of a friend of family member, your local library, or pretty much anywhere that you can access the internet. Another great bonus is that you can start on one computer, pause your course, and finish off on another computer.

Q. Do I have to complete the internet course in one sitting?

No. The Emilio School, Inc. has broken up its traffic school online courses into multiple sections. The computer will record what sections you have completed. You can log on and off as many times as you like and the computer will allow you to resume where you have left off. If you would like to complete the entire course in one sitting, that it okay as well.

Q. What if I don't have an e-mail address?

An e-mail address is not required to take any of the online courses with The Emilio School, Inc. You can print any correspondence directly off of the online course or it can obtained via mail or telephone. If you do not have an email address, during the registration process click the no e-mail button. You can also use the e-mail of a friend or relative if permitted to do so.

Q. I have already enrolled. How do I get back into the online program?

Once you enroll for an internet course with The Emilio School, Inc., you will be given a username and password. On our home page, you can re-enter those codes as many times as you need to in order to complete your course. If you forget or misplace your username and password, please contact us.

Q. I just got knocked off line in the middle of a section. Now what?

On occasion, internet users may be knocked off line in the middle of a course section. While you are taking your online course, every completed section is logged in our system. If you are knocked off line, you will not have to go back to the beginning. The system will bring you to the beginning of the chapter following the last chapter you had completed. At no point will inactivity on your part result in our system knocking you off line.

Q. What types of traffic school courses do you offer in Spanish?

Currently we are offering the 4 Hour BDI Internet and Blooklet course in Spanish.

Q. Can you refer a traffic ticket attorney?

The Emilio School, Inc. chooses not to refer any specific traffic ticket attorney. If you need a referral, you should contact your local Bar Association.
